Overview

The tip of the iceberg is just as cold. Yes, the trail as well.

Noticing Mrs. L sitting on the bleachers in the Gym, you walk over and ask for a penny for her thoughts. Regardless of how you approach her offer, she'll say that she's looking to pick up where she left off on her calisthenic videotapes, expressing how she was happy with the results. Stating how it's a very special kind of program in response to your inquiry of it being on VHS, she heads off.

Upon exiting the Gym, you hear commotion in the locker room, and listen to Mrs. L speak to a Mysterious Person. After it suddenly goes quiet, you notice Lindsey in the hallway and ask her if she knows anything. After giving you an attitude due her legs not going as fast as they're supposed to, she reveals she's stressed out over the outcome of the district marathon, stating how she's having a tough time trusting her feet.

Shortly after, Flora shows up due to overhearing your blatant lack of support, and compliments Lindsey. Changing the subject by asking them about High-intensity Omni-Flex Training, Lindsey will say how it sounds like a 90s exercise program, and Flora will recall how Jo used to be into those kinds of things. Heading to the Cafeteria, Jo asks if you can take care of the laundry while she heads down to the basement and checks at home. The laundry is taken care of by either you or Flora, and Jo apologies for not finding the specific tapes.

Heading upstairs to your computer, you scroll through the search engine only to send an email linked to a blurry image. Shortly after sending the email, the image becomes clear, and you see a naked Mrs. L doing a handstand on a mat. Getting some sleep and investigating the computer again in the morning, the email has replied to you, requesting a $50 payment in exchange for the first videotape being delivered to the house. Once the payment is completed, you head to sleep again and head downstairs. After a brief conversation with Jo, she hands you the videotape that came in the mail and you head to the Clubroom at school to grab the VHS Player inside the closet, returning home afterwards.

Needing a capture card for the player to work, you head back downstairs and ask Jo, who'll quickly divert the conversation by calling over Flora so the two of them can take the car into the city and pick out an outfit for the Newfall Independence Day party. Flora will pass up that offer, and inquire if you're in trouble again, and you snap back at Flora, and Jo will walk off shortly after. Flora will then ask what you're doing today and you'll explain to her that you're looking for a capture card for the VHS. Flora then asks what it's for, and after you tell her she'll say that there's an old box of electronics in the attic.

Using the xCube Controller from your room as a grappling hook, and the nearby lampstand as a stool, you get to fishing, spending the next few days looking for the capture card. Upon finding it and inserting it into the player, you insert the tape and watch a commercial by Mrs. L, ending the quest after it's over.

• When fishing in the attic, you'll discover items over the course of searching for the capture card. This is completely random, as the capture card can be immediately found or discovered after a few days, but the items you find prior can be kept if you wish.

Missable Interactions

• When speaking with Mrs. L:
  • Offering to pay up will reward you an Intellect point.
    • Giving her the money will lose $5, but both you and Mrs. L will receive a Lust point.
      • She'll give you the money back though.
    • Saying "No deal" will reward you a Love point, but subtract a Lust point from Mrs. L.
    • Choosing to come back later will begin the quest without exposition by Mrs. L, but you'll have to speak with her again to gain the exposition.
  • Offering to pay in favors will reward a Charisma point.
  • Asking if she has any tips with getting in shape will reward a Strength point.
• When speaking with Lindsey:
  • Saying that you didn't mean anything by it will reward a Love point for her as she apologies for being snappy.
  • Asking if it's too much training will reward a Charisma point.
  • Asking if it's that time of the month will subtract both a Love and Lust point from Lindsey, as you clarify you're asking if it's time for her period.
• When Flora shows up:
  • Agreeing with Flora will reward a Love point for Lindsey.
  • Thanking Flora for making you look bad will have her recall when you skipped school to sneak into her room.
    • Asking which time will reward a Charisma point and Flora will get annoyed.
    • Telling her to not say anything she might regret will reward a Lust point for Lindsey.
• When Jo asks you to do the laundry:
  • Saying that you'll do it will reward Jo a Love point.
  • Saying that it's not that urgent will subtract a Love point from Jo.
  • If you have at least 6 Intellect points, you'll recall the last time you did the laundry and Jo will request you to ask Flora to do it.
    • Accepting Flora's offer to do the laundry will reward you $10.
    • Declining Flora's offer will have her gain a Lust point, but lose a Love point.
• When Jo talks about Flora:
  • Telling her that life more than just grades will subtract a Love point from her as she tells you that good grades lead to a good life.
  • Telling her that Flora skipped school yesterday will have Jo skeptical of your statement, but change the subject.
  • Telling her that you'll ask Flora for advice will reward a Love point for Jo.
• When Flora asks if you're in trouble again:
  • Asking Flora why she always assumes you're in trouble when talking to Jo will have Flora recall the time you stuffed one of her plushies with corn, culminating in Flora gaining a Lust point after you state she's an "evil genius".
  • If you have at least 5 Intellect points, you'll stop Flora from diverting the attention to you and ask why she won't dress up. This rewards a Love point for Jo.
  • Letting Jo answer rewards nothing.
• When Flora asks what the purpose of the capture card is:
  • Stating that it's none of her business will have you apologize after she says that you're not getting any of the cake she just made, culminating in her gaining a Love point after you state how it pleases you to know things she doesn't.
  • Stating it's for a school project will reward an Intellect point, but Flora will see through your lie and you tell her that you're following a rabbit hole of a set of missing video tapes that disappeared.
  • Stating that you need it to watch vintage porn will gross out Flora, but you'll change the subject as you suddenly speak in R'lyehian, culminating in the two of you speaking it after a quick laugh.
