A single moment during an autumn day, at some point in time.
You find Kate sleeping in the Fine Arts Hall, an unusual sight. After waking her up and talking to her, with her being noticeably shaken and exhausted, she walks away, leaving a bottle of pills behind. You try to return them to her in the Gym, but her cheerleader posse explains that Kate isn't at practice because she's no longer on the squad. She's not in the Nurse's Office or Art Room, either, nor do their respective staff members know where she is. You ask Maxine if she knows anything, and she reveals that she saw Kate receiving a package from "a figure in green". You confront the Nurse again, and this time she reveals that she's been giving Kate sleeping pills, but still insists that she doesn't know where she is.
Concluding that Kate might be out of school with permission, you ask Jo about her whereabouts, but she won't go into detail due to privacy concerns. After attempting to break into Jo's office with a Rock, only for Maxine to already be inside and open the door for you, you check her computer and learn that Kate will be at a doctor's appointment once a week for the foreseeable future. To celebrate seeing less of Kate, you shoot Isabelle a text, and depending on your previous actions during the game, you can either invite her over to your house to tell her in person (after passionate sex) or text her the news right then and there. Either choice leads to you both concluding that your prank in Dethroning the Queen may have caused some psychological damage to her.
The next day, you find Kate sleeping in the Fine Arts Hall again. Shortly after waking her up, the lights in the school go off due to a blown fuse. Kate whimpers in the darkness, grabbing onto your arm in fear, but when the lights turn back on, she regains her senses and bitchy behavior before storming off. This time, though, you can sense that there's something different between the two of you before realizing you still haven't returned her pills.

Missable Interactions[edit | edit source]
- If you make Maxine give the "extra-short" recount of what she saw, she'll skip over an additional description of the "figure in green", that being they were "short and stout".
- She'll also give the "extra-short" version in the form of a haiku.
- Maxine explains that she's installing a security system in Jo's office to "protect the specimen", and that Jo's office is a "weak point".
- Clicking on the Swimming Medal in Jo's office reveals that she was once the captain of the swim team.
- Clicking on the Plant in Jo's office reveals that she's rumored to have climbed the career ladder quickly with sexual favors.
- If "The Grand Gesture" is available but not completed by the time you learn of Kate's doctor appointments, you'll have to complete it in order to text Isabelle the news.
- Doing it this way prevents you from telling her the news in person.
