Overview

A modern-day Augean task.

One of the things that the girl you sided with in Tour de School needs for her plan is a meeting with Maxine. You head to the clubroom to discuss setting one up, but the editor says that her earliest open slot is a week before graduation. However, she'll be willing to sneak you in if you do her a favor. She requests that you get a picture of the glowing spider eggs that can be found in the women's bathroom. With no other option available, you go to the bathroom and find a way to sneak past the Guard once night falls.

Once inside, you search around, but before you can check everywhere, you're caught by Lindsey. You break the ice by asking about her head, a gesture she appreciates. After some playful teasing about not catching her in a more compromising position, she then confronts you about why you're here. You explain that you're here to help Maxine find the glowing spider eggs, but aren't having any luck. Lindsey decides to help by grabbing a glow-in-the-dark solar system keychain she's had since she was in kindergarten and passing the planets off as eggs. After you thank her for the help, she asks you to leave so she can do her business. After either taking advantage of this photo op or giving her privacy, you head home.

The next day, you report your findings to a grateful Maxine, who keeps her word and promises a meeting with you and your partner whenever you're ready.

• If you offer to help Maxine with her appointment scheduling system, you'll meet and interact with Cyberia in the Computer Room.
  • Despite being a "talking calculator" last time around, her software was updated recently by a redacted party.
• Maxine has a document named after you on her computer.
• If you cover yourself in Silver Paint to sneak past the Guard, Lindsey will question your appearance when she catches you.
  • Saying that this is how you really look will give you 1 Charisma point as she flirts about you being the Tin Man in search of his heart.
  • If you say it's a long story, either she'll lose 1 Lust point, you will gain 1 Charisma point (and Jacklyn will gain 1 Love point), or she'll gain 1 Love point, depending on your follow-up choice.
  • If you say it's none of her business, she will lose 1 Love point, but you will gain 1 Intelligence point, explaining how that would be like her applying makeup being your business.

• When Lindsey asks why you're in the bathroom:
  • If you say you're stopping a radioactive spider outbreak, she'll gain 1 Lust point as she admires your "noble quest" (before being shocked at the realization that you're serious).
  • If you say her work ethic inspired you to hit the gym, you'll gain 1 Strength point and she'll gain 1 Love point.
• A pack of cigarettes in the bathroom says "Property of Maya" on it.
• The center locker in the bathroom has a wallet containing $100.
  • Taking the money will give you 1 Lust point.
  • Leaving it be will give you 2 Love points.

• A Plastic Fork can be found hidden on the painting in the bathroom.
• You have a chance to sneak a photo of Lindsey while she's on the toilet.
  • If you take the photo, you'll gain 1 Lust point, but she'll catch you and romance with her will be disabled.
  • If you leave her alone, you'll gain 1 Love point as you realize how wrong it would be to betray her.
• If you assure Maxine that you were careful with the photo, she'll gain 1 Love point.
• Maxine won't accept meetings during lunch, the president's birthday, the Midwinter Blót, solar eclipses, black sabbath, whiskey-nap, or revolutions.
• Maxine sees Kate as a "delightful little lady" and Isabelle as a "lovely soul".

Achievements

• If Maxine accuses Spinach of sleeping while she is awake in the Clubroom, you'll earn the "Here, Kitty Kitty" achievement.
• If you hide in the vents to sneak past the Guard after hiding from the cheerleaders in Twisted Fate, you'll earn the "Call Me, Beep Me!" achievement.
• If you pretend to be leaving swim practice fool the Guard, you'll earn the "Silver Tongue" achievement.
• If you cover yourself in Silver Paint and act like a statue, you will earn "The Right Kind of Bust" achievement.
• If you give a long speech to Lindsey about how you being painted silver is an art experiment, you will earn the "Top Hat" achievement.
