Overview[edit | edit source]

In and out of tune.

Eyeing the piano, you ponder whether its a good idea to test out your piano skills. If you haven't completed Wicked Game or Dead Girl's Score, you'll need to tune the piano first. Heading to the Music Classroom, there's a Tuning Fork on the top shelf, but something of equal size must sit in its place. After noticing that there is a Tuning Hammer at the bottom, you struggle to open the door, noticing that the bottom will only open if the middle is, but if the middle is opened, all that valuable equipment could be destroyed.

Turning to the podium, you grab the Conductor's Baton and place it in the middle, freeing the bottom and grabbing the hammer. You then return to the piano to begin the tuning process, shortly coming back to the Music Classroom thereafter to place the hammer back, grabbing the baton again and placing it in the top cabinet to free the fork. Now that the piano is tuned, it's time to play something.

You decide to play something sweet and romantic, and Isabelle will appear shortly after, surprised that you can play the piano. Complimenting your short escapade, she asks about your opinion on classical music, then requests if you can play another song, specifically something by Chopin. You acknowledge her request and head to the Computer Room to print out one of his pieces, but are greeted by Cyberia when you enter.

After a brief conversation with Cyberia, along with surfing the web for a nocturne piece by Chopin, you head to the printer, but find it to not be plugged in. Grabbing the blue cable and plugging it in, the piece prints and you head to Isabelle to let her know, her excitement building. Heading back to the piano, Isabelle lets you know that she told some people a mini concert was going to happen, and you sit down and play. Depending on your choices and stats, you will either win or lose the crowd and Isabelle. If you're on Isabelle's path and she enjoyed it, she'll then lean against the piano and requests you teach her the piece, resulting in a quickie with her. On either path, regardless of performance outcome, she'll hand you a bottle of her favorite Ice Tea as a token of her appreciation (or regret) for the concert, ending the quest.

Missable Interactions[edit | edit source]

  • You can play other types of music prior to making Isabelle show up.
    • Playing something "dark and dramatic" will make Kate show up, enabling Wicked Game.
    • Playing something "fast and exciting" will cause Lindsey to show up, praising you for the rhythm, beginning the Dead Girl's Score quest.
  • If you're feeling bold, you can perform for Isabelle and the crowd without the sheet music.
    • If your Intelligence level is at least 5, Isabelle will praise you for your improv.
    • If not, you'll completely bomb the performance and Isabelle will feel guilty for putting you on the spot with the crowd.
