Overview[edit | edit source]

The taste of freedom always comes at a price. In this case, a bad breath and an upset stomach.

Thinking of skipping lunch for the day due to haggis being on the menu, you second guess yourself and think it might be a good idea to give some to Isabelle due to her fascination with Scotland. She tries a taste and immediately is appalled at it, stating that it's one of the most disgusting things she's ever tasted. Curious about the smell, Flora shows up and tries a taste of the dish and likes it, surprising the both of you. Mrs. L then shows up, also curious about the smell. After filling her in, she warns the three of you that eating cooked meals outside of the cafeteria is against the school rules. Considering giving detention, but changing her mind, she tells you three to meet her in the Homeroom for a lesson.

Heading to the Homeroom, Mrs. L explains a teamwork and communication exercise to the three of you, of which the instructions are written on the blackboard. The instructions are simple: decide among yourselves who gets the unknown reward with nobody being allowed out until a conclusion is drawn. You converse with Flora and Isabelle to determine who gets the reward, getting each of their opinions. From here, there are several ways to complete the quest.

Digging through the trash bin to find an eraser, along with Mrs. L's desk to find 3 cups, you call Flora over for a game to guess where the eraser is after shuffling the cups. The catch is if you win, she has to vote for whoever you say should get the reward. Depending on which cup the eraser is under, she will guess the middle one. If she's wrong the first time, she'll guess middle again. Regardless of how the game goes, you can dare Flora to kiss Isabelle on the lips to up the ante, or simply allow her to win.

Alternatively, you can escape via the window, unlocking it as explained in Oxygen for Oxymoron, and roam the school. To get back in, you'll need the step ladder from the Gym. Once you're free, you can get Flora on your side by giving her more haggis from the cafeteria, getting Isabelle on your side by tricking her into eating more haggis as forgiveness to Scotland, or you can run into Mrs. L in the Fine Arts Wing, to which she'll make you decide who the winner shall be. No matter what, one of you wins the reward: Mrs. L's small yet impressive brooch.

Most epic teamwork exercise in history! Who wins? Who's next? You decide!

Story Changing Choices[edit | edit source]

  • Excessive Accessory, this quest’s continuation, will begin differently depending on who wins Mrs. L’s brooch.

Characters[edit | edit source]

Scenes[edit | edit source]

  • Flora's Dare

Missable Items[edit | edit source]

  • Giving more haggis to Flora by escaping out the window will have her give you her bracelet.

Missable Interactions[edit | edit source]

  • If you try to give Isabelle the haggis while she's in the Cafeteria, she'll ask you to hold on since she's currently eating.
  • After Isabelle first eats the haggis, she'll disgustedly ask what it is.
    • Asking if she doesn't like it will lead to you giving a "gotcha" moment as you show her not everything Scottish is good. She'll lose 1 Love point at your behavior.
    • Telling her that it's haggis, a Scottish dish, will cause her behavior to change and tell you she'll try some more later, thanking you for the gesture.
      • Suggesting she have another taste right now will give you 1 Lust point. She'll try it again and nervously say it's delicious.
      • Telling her you're welcome will give her 1 Love point as she admits it's the most disgusting thing she's ever tasted.
  • Flora will approach you and Isabelle, claiming the haggis smells nice.
    • Telling her to have a taste will have her do just that and claim it's delicious. You explain to Isabelle that Flora has always had "messed up" taste buds.
      • Continuing on that there's something wrong with her will subtract 1 Love point from Isabelle, who finds that comment rude. Flora will also lose 1 Love point, but will gain 1 Lust point.
      • Saying that you find her ability to appreciate things others don't to be cool will give Isabelle and Flora 1 Love point.
    • Telling her "not now" will lead to her embarrassing you about stealing her panties, giving her 1 Lust point while subtracting 1 Lust point from Isabelle.
    • Telling Isabelle to throw the box away will have her continue to insist that she wants to try it. You tell her it's her funeral, to which she playfully asks if you'll visit her grave.
      • Telling her "of course" will give both Isabelle and Flora 1 Love point.
      • Telling her yes, and that you'd stake her, will give Flora 1 Lust point while subtracting 1 Love point from Isabelle.
  • Mrs. L will approach the three of you and ask what that smell is.
    • Telling her it's Flora will give your roommate 1 Lust point before she proclaims she'll poison your next meal.
    • Telling her it's Isabelle's favorite food will subtract 1 Love point from her as she insists that it's not.
    • Telling her you only smell her perfume will give you 1 Charisma point and her 1 Lust point while subtracting 1 Lust point from Flora.
  • After reading the blackboard for the first time, you can click it again to write something on it.
    • Writing something for Isabelle or Flora will give them 1 Love point.
    • If you instead write something for Mrs. L, she will earn 1 Lust point.
  • You can ask the girls who they think deserves the reward.
    • Isabelle will recommend she gets it, as she's the victim in this whole thing.
    • Flora will recommend she gets it, as she believes it's only right she does or you're stuck in the Homeroom forever.
    • Telling either girl you should get it will result in them being confused, since you are technically the cause of this situation.
  • You can recommend to either girl that the other should get the reward.
    • Recommending Flora should get it to Isabelle will result in her telling you that she thinks it's kind of you to do that, but you can't buy someone's forgiveness.
    • Recommending Isabelle should get it to Flora will result in her blowing you off, comparing Isabelle's suffrage to her own since she has to deal with you every day.
  • During the game with Flora:
    • You can rig the game if you have 5 Intellect points, slipping the eraser into your pocket.
    • Upping the stakes if she loses once will result in you daring her to kiss Isabelle on the lips if she loses again.
      • She'll go through with the dare if you have 3 Charisma points or 3 Intellect points. Otherwise, you can have her buy her way out of it and gain $10.
    • If she loses both times regardless if you upped the stakes or not, her claim to the reward will be null and void.
  • If you throw the globe into the basketball hoop while having less than 5 Strength points, you will miss and almost hit Isabelle, resulting in her losing 1 Love point.
    • If you have 5 or more Strength points, however, you'll make the basket. Isabelle will still lose 1 Love point due to your playing around of expensive equipment, but you'll impress Flora and give her 1 Love point.
  • Wiping the Greasy Bolt on Flora's shirt will subtract 1 Love point from her.
  • Giving Flora more haggis from the Cafeteria will result in her gaining 1 Love and Lust point, as well as her bracelet as a token of thanks.
  • Giving Isabelle "Bayonets & Etiquettes" will lead to you explaining that hating haggis is considered rude in Scottish culture, leading to her apologizing if she offended you.
    • Telling her you're not since you're not Scottish will give her 1 Love point.
    • Teasingly being offended on Scotland's behalf will give her 1 Lust point.
  • Giving Isabelle another box of haggis will show her nervous to eat more.
    • Telling her not to eat it will give her 1 Love point and lead to her believing you should get the reward.
    • Telling her "bon appetit" will subtract 1 Love point from her before she asks if you have anything to wash her mouth with.
      • If you have a water bottle, you can give it to her. She'll thank you and recommend you get the reward.
      • If you don't give her anything to drink, she'll ask Flora instead, who will give her some water. Isabelle will then recommend Flora get the reward.
  • If you enter the Fine Arts Hall and talk to Mrs. L, she'll ask what you're doing out here.
    • Telling her you were getting food for Flora will have her show appreciation for helping her, but disqualifies you from getting the reward, instead telling you to pick who should get it.
      • Whoever you pick will get the brooch and the quest will end.
    • If you have 6 Intellect points, you can tell her you three already completed the challenge.
      • She asks who unlocked the door, and you quickly claim it was the janitor, to which Mrs. L shows genuine anger at that.
      • She'll ask who you decided to be the winner, and whoever you pick will get the brooch, ending the quest.
