Overview[edit | edit source]

Straight down the rabbit hole.

Still curious about Mrs. L's involvement in the stolen hospital donations, you approach her and strike up a friendly chat. She claims ignorance to both Maya's signature perfume and its theft, reassuring that she was in the bathroom that night due to working late and needing to go. With that lead ended, you interrogate Maya again, who still insists that she was framed. When you ask if she knows anything about the unicorn plushie found in the bathroom that night, though, she admits that it's hers and that it was stolen from the Gym, believing one of the cheerleaders had taken it.

Following this lead, you look for Kate for answers, but she's not in the Sports Wing, Fine Arts Wing, or Admin Wing. While in the latter location, though, you notice a note from the janitor on the information board, claiming that her mop has gone missing. With so many thefts occurring, you can't wrap your mind around the connection between them. Jo will then appear and ask if you need anything, and upon telling her you're looking for Kate, she'll tell you that she should be back tomorrow.

With all logical leads at an end, you turn to the one student that should be sought for any and all things odd and strange. Maxine has noticed that several of her own things have gone missing and decides to help you investigate the thefts in the school on the condition that she gets to be the "bad cop", to which she puts on a hat to signal it (you don't get one since you're not a cop). She then explains that because this all started with the Nurse, you should follow up with her story to make sure it checks out. On the way, you pass the Guard, who’s angry about something.

When you find the Nurse in the Cafeteria, Maxine will angrily tell her that she's under arrest. If you play along with Maxine, Nurse will be searched in her office, getting a full examination if she has at least 15 Lust points. No matter what, Nurse will tell you that she was working at the hospital at the time of the theft and she hasn't seen anything else go missing. You decide to interrogate Jacklyn next for the sake of being thorough, but she claims that she's had her own items stolen right from under her nose: textiles for an art lecture. With that lead going nowhere, you decide to speak to Jo at her office.

Upon arriving to the Admin Wing, you'll find the Guard again, reporting that someone has stolen his chair from his booth. Jo assures him that she'll look into it, and after he storms away, Maxine assures her that the two of you have it under control before lamenting that the "locker confiscation" got mixed up in all of this. Having now let it slip that she was the one who stole Isabelle's locker, Jo sternly tells her to come into her office to talk, and depending on your choice, she either complies or is off the hook after you convince Jo that she's innocent.

After that, you're left wondering what to do. You consider just letting Jo take care of it and staying out of everyone's affairs, but quickly dismiss that when you remember that's what you did in your old life. You decide to keep your eyes peeled for anything suspicious while helping those who need it.

Characters[edit | edit source]

Scenes[edit | edit source]

  • Nurse's Cavity Search

Missable Interactions[edit | edit source]

  • When Mrs. L asks how she can help you at the start of the quest:
    • Thanking her for the Courage Badge will give her 1 Lust point as she assures you she's happy to help "in any way she can".
    • If you ran into her during Dethroning the Queen, you can ask her what she knows about what happened that night.
      • She says she's not surprised at there being spiders (which she claims to not recall seeing), stating that the janitor is "less than competent".
    • Asking if you can sign up for swimming lessons will give her 2 Lust points as she reminds you that the pool is closed after Christmas, but is excited for your enthusiasm to join and "get wet with her".
  • Accusing Mrs. L of framing Maya will result in her losing 5 Lust points and giving you a detention.
  • If you have 10 Charisma points, you can tell Maya that at least she has her looks when she mentions how poor her mind is, giving her 2 Lust points.
  • When Maya asks why you want to know about the unicorn plushie:
    • Telling her she's your prime suspect again will subtract 2 Lust points from her after she points out the flaw in your logic and is left disappointed that you're not throwing her in handcuffs.
    • Telling her that Mrs. L said it was in the girl's bathroom will leave her confused, as that's not where she lost it.
    • Ordering her to tell you where she lost it will give her 1 Lust point as she gives a dramatic retelling of the event.
  • If you completed Dethroning the Queen, you'll comment on how Kate doesn't spend much time in the Sports Wing anymore while searching for her there.
  • If you completed Stolen Hearts, you'll recall the security footage you saw of Mrs. L and the mop upon learning of it being stolen.
  • If you completed Hurricane Isabelle, you'll recall that you know where at least one of the stolen items, Isabelle's locker, is located and who stole it.
  • When Maxine comments that several of her things have gone missing:
    • If you ask what she lost, she'll earn 1 Love point.
      • The items that had gone missing were "two Easter eggs, a part of the third wall, and a diesel engine".
      • When asked why she thought Spinach had stolen them, she'll answer that the cat is a known kleptomaniac.
    • If you ask if she has suspects, she explains that it's easier to list who is not one: Lindsey, Flora, Maya, and Kate.
    • If you tell her that she's your prime suspect, you'll both bicker about how you have a lack of evidence before you give up and say she's not your prime suspect anymore.
  • The Nurse will gain 2 Love points if you tell Maxine to chill when confronting her. Going along with Maxine's arrest attempt will give her 2 Lust points, instead.
    • Going along with the arrest will start the Nurse's Cavity Search scene. If Nurse has at least 15 Lust points, you can tell Maxine to keep searching, resulting in Nurse stripping and being thoroughly searched, resulting in her gaining 3 Lust points.
      • If you brought Nurse to Kate during Search & Rescue, you'll comment on how she always seems to wind up with a fist in her ass.
  • When Jacklyn "plainly states" that she had something of hers stolen:
    • Telling her there's no need for attitude as it'll keep her on the suspect list will have her angrily tell you she has no idea what you're talking about.
    • Showing sympathy for her ruined art lecture will give her 1 Love point as you praise her mission to spread her artistic wisdom.
      • Maxine will comment that she fails to see why a thief would want "useless" art, something Jacklyn shows no offense over.
    • Telling her you'll get to the bottom of this will result in her showing offense at her being labeled "not as much of a suspect".
  • Helping Maxine get out of Jo's questioning will give her 1 Love and Lust point as you make up a story about the two of you ghost hunting the day the locker was stolen.
    • Letting Jo question Maxine will result in her losing 2 Love points at your betrayal, stating that you were the "bad cop" all along.
