Between the devil and the deep blue sea.
You notice that Jo seems a lot more tired and stressed than usual due to everything from Lindsey's jump to the rampant thefts in the school. Unsure how to help, you talk to Flora, who suggests the two of you take her out on the water for a nice, relaxing day together. Head to the Detention Classroom and look through the Phone Book on the bookshelf. After scrolling through several businesses starting with "Filthy" (even potentially getting the number of "Filthy Karen's Sex Hotline"), you find "Filthy Oar" and call to reserve a boat rental. Unfortunately, they're fully booked for the rest of the season, though one customer, "Mr. Krab", hasn't paid in full for this weekend's trip. The receptionist suggests you talk to him about taking his spot or paying his fee.
Upon visiting the marina, you're shocked to discover that "Mr. Krab" is in fact the literal knife-wielding crab atop the Naugthilus. With it having only a single dollar, you decide to help the poor thing by extorting money from your fellow Newfallers. Talk to and convince any 3 people in the school (excluding Jo and Flora) to head to the marina through one way or another, where they'll be tricked or forced into giving money to Mr. Krab. The next day, everything will be squared away upon arrival at the marina. After helping Mr. Krab onto the boat, call Flora and have her bring Jo over. She'll be surprised by the gesture, but happily boards the boat as the three of you set sail.
However, once out at sea, Jo will be too distracted by her phone, defeating the purpose of helping her relax. You talk to Flora about what to do, and through either her guilt-tripping Jo or you convincing her she may be bugged, Jo gives you her phone and you lock it below deck. Afterwards, Flora goes dolphin sighting on the other side of the boat, leaving you alone with Jo. She accepts some lemonade and the two of you sit in silence, enjoying the moment. She soon admits to feeling less stressed and thanks you for the day.
If she has 14 Love points, you can offer her a foot massage, which she heavily enjoys. If she has 7 Lust points, you can help her relax even more by fingering her. She'll be hesitant and scared at first, but the pleasure overwhelms her. By the time she climaxes, she'll be visibly confused about how to feel about this, with you two quickly deciding to pretend it never happened.
Upon returning back to the marina (and getting her phone back), Jo once again thanks you and Flora for the day, appreciating the time off from reality and promises to make more time to relax. You and Flora are grateful to see her so happy as everyone heads home to rest.

- If you put Mr. Krab into the water while on the boat, he will permanently disappear from the marina upon quest completion, preventing the ”Truce of a Lifetime” achievement from being completed if it hadn’t already been.

- If you betrayed Maxine at the end of Invested Investigation, Jo will comment that she gave her a detention due to her being "the most likely culprit" of the thefts.
- When trying to comfort Jo at the start of the quest:
- Telling her she has your full support will give her 1 Love point as she shows appreciation (though she doesn't seem fully convinced).
- Telling her to chill out will subtract 1 Love point from her as she misunderstands your good intentions.
- Suggesting meditation will give you 1 Intellect point. She appreciates the suggestion, but claims it's hard to find time.
- When Flora asks what you're getting out of helping Jo:
- Saying you're going to finally be Jo's favorite will subtract 1 Love point from her as you threaten to tell Jo she's the thief.
- Saying you want what's best for the both of them will cause her to doubt you.
- If you had sex with her during Squid Game or Suitable Romance, she'll tease about how she's still getting used to you being nice, even rightfully calling out how you love when she's a brat to you.
- Otherwise, she'll gain 1 Love point as she concedes that Jo truly needs a break from everything.
- Saying that you're not getting anything will cause her to be surprised yet respectful of your blunt honesty.
- Keeping Filthy Karen's number will allow you to call her. Otherwise, you'll comment on how your current girlfriend and/or the girl with the highest Love level wouldn't like you calling it.
- Upon calling her, she'll ask for your sins.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen, you'll say you ruined someone's life.
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose, you'll say you betrayed someone who trusted you.
- Quickly, you'll learn that there was a typo in the phone book and that she is actually Faithful Karen, and her hotline is dedicated to sin repentance and forgiveness. After the confusion is cleared up, she'll ask if she can help with anything non-sexual.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen:
- If you completed A Beautiful Motive, you can ask her how to get a "good Christian girl", giving Lindsey 1 Love point. Karen will suggest walking in nature to think about her, a suggestion that will most likely have a payoff in the future.
- Asking how to get to Heaven will have Karen explain that you must find inner peace, something only you can know how to do.
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose:
- Asking if she's up for phone sex anyway give you 1 Lust point, but Karen will decline.
- Asking if she knows Lindsey will reveal that she does and has been praying for her, even confirming that she's doing better.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen:
- Upon calling her, she'll ask for your sins.
- When collecting money for Mr. Krab, you can ask any student or staff member besides Jo and Flora for help, though only 3 are required. But occasionally, your choices can have them not comply and you'll have to find someone else. There's also a chance that there will be consequences related to your trickery in the future.
- Telling the Guard via his booth that there are free donuts in the marina will cause him to instantly believe you and head off.
- When asking Isabelle:
- Telling her there's a book fair in the marina will convince her, though if you completed Stepping on the Rose, she'll be more skeptical on why you're telling her this.
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose, you can order her to give money to the crab. She'll call you crazy, and upon you threatening to tell Kate, she'll dare you to do it. Having your bluff called and knowing Kate wouldn't care about this, you'll have to find someone else.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen, you can come clean about needing to give money to the crab. She'll think you're joking.
- If you're dating her, you'll successfully convince her that you're serious, and she'll do it on the condition that you tell her how everything went with Jo.
- If you're not dating her, you'll need to find someone else to extort.
- When asking Jacklyn:
- Telling her that the famous artist Mandy Whorehall is at the marina will cause her to head out in excitement.
- Telling her you've always wanted to try skinny dipping will leave her confused at how random that is.
- Asking her to join you will give you 1 Charisma point and her 1 Lust point, but she'll decline your offer due to the dropping temperatures, leaving you needing to find someone else.
- Saying that there are nudists at the marina will cause her to head out there to draw them.
- When asking Kate:
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose, you can ask if you can beg for her help, giving you 1 Lust point. She'll let you beg, but she finds your claim of giving a crab money to be some kind of stupid game.
- Saying you should've known better than to ask her for money will subtract 1 Lust point from her as she agrees with you, requiring you to find someone else.
- Continuing to beg will give her 1 Lust point and you 1 Love point as she agrees to do it to show that sometimes begging has its rewards.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen, you can tell her you saw Chad at the marina with a hot lifeguard. She'll go over there in jealousy, giving you 1 Intellect point.
- Telling her there's a party at the marina will cause her to ask why she'd go to that.
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose, you'll tell her there's a beach girl photoshoot that she should participate in, an offer she accepts.
- If you completed Dethroning the Queen, you suggest it'll help her regain some of her lost dignity. She's hesitant and isn't a fan of you telling her what to do, but she eventually does head out there.
- Either choice will give you 1 Charisma point.
- If you completed Stepping on the Rose, you can ask if you can beg for her help, giving you 1 Lust point. She'll let you beg, but she finds your claim of giving a crab money to be some kind of stupid game.
- When asking Maxine:
- Telling her that talking to her is complicated will subtract 1 Love point from her and require you to find someone else.
- If she has 8 Love points, you can tell her that your feelings for her are complicated, giving both of you 1 Love point as you give each other love confessions (or rather the closest that you can get).
- Telling her that you'll dedicate yourself to learning "code language 201" will give her 1 Lust point as she shows appreciation for your knowledge and evolution.
- You'll convince her by telling her about a "loan crab" at the marina.
- When asking Maya:
- Telling her you want a blowjob will cause playful teasing about you being an exhibitionist, giving her 1 Love point.
- Telling her you want her to be happy and stable will subtract 1 Lust point from her, calling that a "boner killer".
- Telling her you have information for her will lead to some bickering that results in you needing to find someone else.
- You'll convince her by telling her there's a computer trade show at the marina.
- When asking Mrs. L:
- Telling her there's a crab infestation in the marina will cause her to leave to investigate.
- Telling her you're as clean as a whistle will give each of you 1 Lust point as you tell her you're trying your new speedo at the marina.
- Telling her you want to talk about spiders will cause her to act suspicious before you tell her there are glowing crabs at the marina, which she leaves to investigate.
- When asking the Nurse:
- Telling her there's a case of "crab flu" in town and that medical professionals are in the marina taking samples will convince her to go and join them.
- If you have blackmail on her or she has 8 Lust points, you can order her to give money to the crab, giving her 1 Lust point.
- Telling her she looks pretty today will give her 1 Love point. You'll then suggest she take the rest of the day off and enjoy time at the marina, which she does.
- Before talking to Jo when you first enter the boat, you can talk to Flora. You suggest that the two of you should do this together some time, saying you enjoy spending time together. She asks where this is going.
- If Flora has 16 Love points, you'll tell her that you enjoy her and just want to spend time with her, no catches. She'll gain 1 Love point as a result.
- Otherwise you'll chalk it up to nostalgia before thanking her for helping set this up.
- Interacting with Mr. Krab while on the boat gives you the choice to keep him onboard or return him to the ocean.
- Keeping him will give you 1 Lust point, saying you just can't part with him.
- Tossing him in will give you 1 Love point as you wish your friend goodbye.
- The Love point won't be added if you previously decided to keep him onboard.
- When talking to Flora about getting rid of Jo's phone:
- Telling her that she's the brains and you're the looks will give you 1 Charisma point. She'll also correct you and say that she's both.
- Telling her to either help or get off the boat will subtract 1 Love point from her.
- If you spoke with her earlier on the boat and had a sweet moment, you'll comment how that's now been ruined.
- Telling her you work with what you have will cause her to reluctantly agree to help.
- When Jo thanks you for the day:
- Telling you couldn't have done it without Flora will give her 1 Love point as she reappears to confirm it.
- Telling her "you're welcome" will give you 1 Charisma point and her 1 Love point.
- If she has 14 Love points, you can offer her a foot massage.
- When she asks you to give a deeper massage, saying your hands are tired will subtract 1 Love point from her and end the scene. Continuing the massage will continue the scene.
- Asking if she feels better will give her 1 Love point and end the scene. Continuing will continue the scene.
- When she says she didn't know you were good with your fingers, telling her that this is reserved only for her will give her 3 Love points and end the scene. If she has 7 Lust points, you can finger her, giving each of you 1 Lust point.
- Asking if she feels better will give her 1 Love point and end the scene. Continuing will continue the scene.
- When she asks you to give a deeper massage, saying your hands are tired will subtract 1 Love point from her and end the scene. Continuing the massage will continue the scene.
- If you didn't throw Mr. Krab overboard, you'll thank him for the voyage when you return to shore.
