Overview

So much to live for, so much to die for.

You come across Lindsey in some sort of trance similar to the one from Nothing Wrong With Me, and after bringing her back to reality, she explains that she's fine, just stressed, before heading off to practice. Deciding to help her out, you turn to something that de-stresses you: music.

Play something fast and exciting on the piano in the Fine Arts Wing (repairing it first if you haven't already), and Lindsey will hear it and talk to you, loving the music and impressed at your musical prowess. She mentions that she loves medieval music, and upon you mentioning that you have a first edition King's Bard album, she gets excited. Once you get over the shock that she knows what King's Bard is and didn't laugh at you, you have the choice to listen to it with her at home (if she has 10 Lust points), listen to it in the music classroom, or just give the album to her altogether.

You then talk to Jo and ask for her to look for the album. Depending on what time you asked, she'll either find it when she comes home in the evening or early the next morning, having found it under a stack of old towels in the basement. If you decided to listen to it in the Music Classroom, approach Lindsey at school and tell you found the album. After a bit of flirty teasing, she meets you at the Music Classroom in an hour and dances by herself to the music. If you instead chose to invite her over to or give her the album without listening to it, call her and she'll come over at 8 PM, meeting you in either your Bedroom or Kitchen, where she'll kiss you by the end of the night if her stats are high enough.

Story Changing Choices

• If you tell Lindsey that you figured she was one-dimensional or tell her you wanted her panties when you have less than 6 Charisma points, she'll take offense and romance with her will be disabled.
• If you play fast but dark music and ask Kate to show you "how it's done", you will unlock a Moment of Glory.
  • Unlocking 3 will unlock A Single Moment in Season 2.

Missable Items

• By the end of the quest, you will either keep the King's Bard Album or give it to Lindsey.

Missable Interactions

• You can skip the trance sequence at the start of the quest by playing the piano first.

• When Lindsey is in her trance at the start of the quest:
  • Shaking her will subtract 1 Love point from her.
  • Splashing her with water from your bottle (should you have one) will give her 1 Lust point as she shows appreciation for your concern.
  • Getting help will have you go to the Nurse. Lindsey will be confused and dismiss her assistance, but Nurse will get 1 Love point from your attempt to help.

• If you fail the quest while talking to Lindsey in the Fine Arts Wing (as long as you didn't disable romance with her), you can play the piano and try again.

• When Lindsey approaches after hearing you play the piano:
  • Saying that you've been practicing lately will lead to you asking if she wants to hear more, which she accepts.
    • Playing something fast but dark will cause Kate to appear and criticize your work, stating that her favorite part was "the pauses between the notes".
      • Admitting you need more practice will cause Lindsey to leave, but not before Kate reminds her of a party this weekend (that you're not invited to). You ask if Kate will help you practice if you call her "ma'am", which she considers as she gains 3 Lust points.
      • Asking her to show you how it's done will subtract 1 Lust point as she refuses to prove herself to you. Lindsey will also get 1 Love point as she praises your playing.
      • Thanking Lindsey for the praise will cause Kate to call her out on her ignorance, saying "guys like him only have 1 thing on their mind."
        • Proving Kate wrong will subtract 1 Lust point from her. Proving her right will either lead to 1 Charisma point but failing the quest, Lindsey gaining 1 Love point and Kate losing 1 Lust point (if you have at least 6 Charisma), or romance with Lindsey being disabled (if you have less than 6 Charisma).
    • If Isabelle didn't slap Lindsey in Stolen Hearts, you can play something exciting but sweet, causing her to appear and talk to Lindsey, who wishes to travel the world like Isabelle.
      • Reminding the girls that you're still here will create awkward tension, causing you to save the mood with a Mozart fact that gives you 1 Intellect point. Isabelle, however, will lose 1 Love point.
        • When Lindsey asks if you don't like Isabelle, your choices will either subtract 1 Lust point from Lindsey, give you 1 Charisma point, or give Lindsey 1 Lust point.
      • Telling Lindsey that her talent will send her across the world will give her 1 Love point, playfully dismissing the compliments after Isabelle joins in.
        • If you have 8 Charisma, you can tell her she has a perfect body for other activities, to which she'll gain 1 Love point as you bring up other sports. Isabelle knows what you meant and seems disgusted, but she'll gain 1 Love point herself after you make a witty charm to her.
        • Telling Lindsey she deserves the praise will give her 1 Love point as she and Isabelle exchange numbers so she can see her run some time.
        • Asking Isabelle how she's liking Newfall so far will cause Lindsey to leave and go practice after thanking you for the concert. Isabelle seems confused by your unenthusiastic reply to thinking Lindsey is sweet.
          • Your response will either give Isabelle 2 Love points or 2 Lust points. The quest will also fail.
      • Playing romantic background music while they talk will give Lindsey 1 Love point, but cause Isabelle to walk away at the realization of what you're doing.
  • Saying you never took her as someone who appreciated a good tune will ask you to clarify what you mean.
    • Calling her one-dimensional will subtract 2 Love points from and disable romance with her.
    • If you have 6 Intellect points, you can say you figured she was into modern dance music, to which she explains she's into medieval music.
  • If you have 6 Strength points, you can ask if the feeling the music is giving her is "like a knight riding into battle to save a princess". She say that's it exactly and will gain 1 Lust point.
  • If you ask if the feeling she's getting is like the last stretch of a race, she'll gain 1 Love point before you realize your entire point was to get her mind off of racing.

• When Jo asks what you need the album for:
  • Being a smartass and asking what you usually do with them will give you 1 Intellect point but subtract 1 Love point from Jo.
  • Saying it's for a girl will give Jo 1 Love point. Telling her that it's Lindsey will have her remind you to use protection.

• Before Jo gives you the album at home, she'll comment on how the new curriculum is hard for some teachers to accept.
  • Saying she has it under control will give her 1 Lust point as you consider her offer to give her a hug at work some time.
  • Asking if you can help will give her 1 Love point as she tells you to keep up your grades.

• If you ask Jo if she washed the towels, she'll comment how they smelled odd, so she threw them out. You mentally not that they weren't your finest moments.

• If you thank her for digging through the basement, she'll comment how she knows you're afraid of the dark. You remind her that you were six when you said that.

• Attempting to call Lindsey when you're in the same room as her will have you comment how weird that is.

• Telling Lindsey she can come over if she wants to will give her 1 Love point after she assures you that she wants this.

• If Lindsey is coming over to listen to the album and your room is clean, you can interact with your closet and change outfits before the doorbell rings.
  • Wearing a King's Bard T-shirt and chainmail will give her 1 Lust point.
  • Wearing something sporty will give her 1 Love point.

• If you simply gave Lindsey the album without listening to it together, she'll gain 2 Lust points and 1 Love point.
  • Telling her that the dragon slayer was your role model will give her 1 Lust point, causing Flora to appear and tease you about wearing tin foil armor growing up.
    • Telling Flora you're in the middle of something will subtract 1 Love point from both her and Lindsey.
  • If she has 10 Love points, you'll call her excitement cute, giving her an extra Love point. After some discussion about whether this whole event was fate or chance, she'll convince you that it was fate by kissing you.

• If you invited Lindsey over to listen to the album with you:
  • She will either gain or lose 1 Love and Lust point depending on whether your room is clean by the time she arrives.
  • When she asks you to dance with her:
    • Saying you twisted your ankle in the gym will give you 1 Strength point.
    • Saying you'd rather watch her will give her 1 Love point.
  • While the two of you dance, you'll have a deep discussion about life and how she wishes she could slow down and enjoy it. She'll also mention that she's never had a boyfriend due to time and her family's disapproval.
    • Saying they just want to protect her will give her 3 Love points as she says her mom would like you.
    • Telling her that she should decide things for herself will give her 3 Lust points as you say she needs a hero to help her.
  • If you have 4 Love points, you can give Lindsey the album afterwards, resulting in her thanking and kissing you.
  • If you wish her a good night, you'll awkwardly say goodbye multiple times while she looks at you expectantly.

• If you invited Lindsey to listen to the album in the Music Classroom, she'll gain 1 Lust point when she arrives.
  • Taking a picture of her while she dances will give you 1 Lust point.
    • MC's camera reel while he takes the picture will show that his most recent photo is of Jo's cleavage.
  • Letting her dance in peace will give you 1 Love point.
  • Lindsey will comment that King's Bard is releasing a new album soon, to which you almost say they've been saying that for fourteen years before correcting yourself to four.
