Ria is the school janitor, always out and about in the building and never in the Janitor's Closet. She was one of MC's many crushes back in high school, one reason being that she was one of the few who showed him respect. He speculates she may have been lonely despite her kind attitude.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ria has short salmon-colored hair, the front of which hangs down in front of her face and nearly covers her teal eyes. Her build is surprisingly muscular, with thick, sturdy arms and a faint but noticeable six-pack on her abdomen.
As the school custodian, she sports dark blue coveralls buttoned just low enough to peek at her laced white bra and has a chest pocket and name tag that simply states "Janitor". She completes the uniform with yellow cleaning gloves and black boots. The only non-uniform clothing she wears while working is a white hair clip on the right side of her face and a white choker with a blue heart charm.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Not much is currently known about Ria's personality due to her limited screen time, but from what is known from secondhand accounts, she's very passionate about her work, MC commenting how she's the only one who seems to actually do her job. She can be hard to find due to her always cleaning and fixing something in the school, but it's guaranteed that it'll be done with perfection and care.
Outside of just cleaning, she also has a huge heart, with MC recalling how she ironically never saw him as dirt, something we see firsthand during her sole appearance in the game. But as is life, even the kindest soul has detractors, such as Mrs. L constantly complaining about Ria's lemon-scented soap.

- Ria currently only appears as an easter egg interaction in Hooking Up.
- If you try to enter the school after helping Maxine dig at night, Ria will politely request for you to go home.
- Encountering this easter egg will award you with an achievement.
- There's a popular fan theory that Ria is involved in MC's second chance due to her name being a potential nickname for "Mercuria".
- Despite, or perhaps because of, her limited screen time, she has garnered many dedicated fans in the community.
