Overview
All the things that could've been.
Returning to the hospital once again, you begin more volunteer work after a brief conversation with the Receptionist. Checking in on Lindsey at the end of the day, you notice her awake and alert. After she expresses happiness for being able to see you today, she asks if there’s something you can do for her. Lindsey clarifies the request is to take her to see the track regionals the following day as she’d really like to go and watch it, to which you reply that it doesn’t seem like a good idea. Lindsey then pleads, stating that regionals were everything to her and everything she trained for, and starts to cry as she feels broken, alone, and sad.
Cheering Lindsey up by accepting her request, you head to the front desk and ask the Receptionist if you can check Lindsey out. Being denied by the Receptionist, you return to Lindsey and she suggests you sneak her out instead, to which you immediately begin planning how to do it.
Heading home and asking Flora for one of her hoodies, she asks why after asking if they’re for Jacklyn, clarifying her question as to why if you don’t wish to pursue crossdressing. Either through honesty, admitting you’d look great in fishnets too, or stating you want to know how it feels to be in Flora’s shoes, she accepts and requests you wash it when you’re done. After thanking Flora, you head upstairs and get some sleep due to your exhaustion.
Grabbing the hoodie and heading back to the hospital, you rummage through the Lost & Found box for eyeglasses and a headscarf, perfect compliments for the hoodie for her disguise. You then need a wheelchair, to which you can create a distraction, which Maya will show up and after a brief conversation as to why she’s at the hospital, she’ll suddenly faint, giving you an opening. Otherwise, you can simply ask the receptionist, or lie by stating that the wheelchair is for a different patient.
Returning to Lindsey’s room, you get her dressed up and compliment how she looks after she doubts herself. Lifting her up and placing her into the wheelchair, she winces in pain, and you place a blanket across her legs for the final touch of the disguise. Rolling her out, you’re met by the Hospital Guard, and depending on your choice, you either flash your Volunteer Badge or make up a story to which Lindsey plays along with. After the race starts, Lindsey gets upset, stating how she should be out there with the other racers and lamenting on her current situation, beginning to cry.
Stating that this whole thing was a mistake, Lindsey requests to leave, which you oblige and take her to the pier. After sitting in silence for a bit, Lindsey suddenly speaks up, stating how she didn’t believe it’d be that difficult to be at the track and reflecting on her condition, resulting in fresh tears running down her face. You then kneel in front of her and take her hand, showering her in compliments as you state that running isn’t everything she is and that she’s one of the kindest people you’ve ever met, recalling how she’s always smiling and ready to help someone in need, comparing that strength to her needing that same strength to cope with her current condition. You reassure Lindsey that one day she’ll get better and start running again, knowing that this simple setback won’t snuff out her light for good.
After Lindsey has doubts, you recall how she radiates a level of kindness that makes even you strive to do better, and how she makes you feel amazing, and how she makes you want to be a better person every day. After your exposition, Lindsey’s tears stop and she begins to laugh as she asks if you meant what you said, and thoughts of a future with Lindsey run through your mind as she states how kind and thoughtful you are and that she didn’t think she could get through her situation without you.
After a bit, Lindsey suggests it’d be a good idea to get back before the employees notice her absence. Upon returning to the hospital, you’re both greeted by the Receptionist, who scolds you for sneaking Lindsey out and requests your hospital badge, asking you to leave as your volunteer work has now come to an end. Lindsey then starts to cry and pleads to the Receptionist that the outing was her idea, but the Receptionist relents that something of this scale would be a liability and you hand her your badge at her behest. Reassuring Lindsey that you’d do this again and again if necessary, the Receptionist requests once again for you to leave the premises.
Now outside, you relent on how you won’t be able to see Lindsey again since your Hospital access has been revoked, hoping she’ll be released soon.

Missable Items
- Whilst searching through the Lost & Found box, you discover a Vibrator and a Clown Nose.

Missable Interactions
- When grabbing the wheelchair, you're presented with some options:
- Choosing to create a distraction will prompt a surprise appearance from Maya, who states she's at the hospital for some STD Testing. Eventually, she'll faint and gives you an opening to grab the wheelchair. Once she gets up however, she states she was swooning over a "hot doctor".
- Choosing to confidently take the wheelchair will have the Receptionist question what you're doing, and you lie by telling her its for Doctor Hoover's brain surgery patient.
- Choosing to simply ask for one will have the Receptionist accept your request, free of any retaliation or backlash.
- Prior to leaving the hospital with Lindsey, you're greeted by the Security Guard asking what you're doing.
- With at least 15 Charisma points, you'll flash your badge to the Guard and he lets you both go after a short bit.
- This choice will reward a Charisma point for you and a Lust point for Lindsey.
- If you do not have 15 Charisma points, or simply wish to take a different approach; you'll create a fake story of the woman in the wheelchair being your Grandmother. Conveniently, Lindsey plays along and begins sheading tears after a bit, and the Guard lets you go.
- This choice awards an Intellect point for you and Lindsey will gain a Love point.
- With at least 15 Charisma points, you'll flash your badge to the Guard and he lets you both go after a short bit.
