While in the Sports Wing, you notice that something dark seems to be blocking the air vent. Before you can think of climbing up to it, you'll need a way to get it open. Head to the Homeroom and investigate the Bookshelf, where you'll find a copy of "Bayonets & Etiquettes". Investigating it in your inventory will reveal that the book has a hidden compartment containing the Monkey Wrench. Return to the Sports Wing and stack all the shoes in the hall on top of each other to create a platform to the vent. After opening it up with the wrench, you'll find a bag of ski masks, dark clothes, and a grappling hook, the latter being the object you decide to keep. | |||

Using the wrench yet again, take the Globe off of its stand and toss it at the Basketball Hoop. You'll miss, but it will cause one of its bolts to come loose.
